Well it's that time again! I am extremely excited and proud to announce the 2nd ANNUAL FEMALES IN COMEDY CONVENTION (FICC), APRIL 23-27, 2013 AT THE LOS ANGELES MARRIOTT HOTEL.
Hosted by the Females In Comedy Association (FICA) & Miss Rich Entertainment.
If you missed the 1st Annual FICC, you certainly missed a historical, groundbreaking event. FICC 2012 was jammed pack with career changing information, networking with some of the biggest names in comedy industry. The 2012 FICC exceeded all of my expectations and I am forever grateful to each and every one of the female comediennes that came from all over the country & Canada to support me and my vision of empowerment for all females in comedy.
We made history at the Jspot selling out all ten shows to standing room only capacity, we shared loads of belly busting laughter and. I must say even the male comics were jealous! We laughed, we cried, we networked, we looked fabulous, we shared rooms/rides and we all truly enjoyed the experience.
Despite those who said it couldn’t be done, that comediennes aren’t funny or relevant and that woman in comedy could not come together on one accord. The 2012 FICC dispelled all those myths and every individual walked away, confident, unified and determined to make the 2013 FICC even bigger and better when we come together again April 2013.
The events, workshops, seminars, showcases, and Celebrities that are scheduled for FICC 2013 are the very best the industry has to offer.
There is no other opportunity for females in comedy of this magnitude with the primary focus being on their career development. FICC’s extraordinary level of in-depth workshops/seminars taught by the top comedy professionals, real showcases in premier comedy clubs in front of packed out crowds and industry execs that actually talk and consult with you and are gracious enough to allow you to contact them even after the convention is over.
This is a history making movement in the making and you need to be a part of it. If for nothing else, but to take your comedy career to the next level or to figure out if this is what you really want to do!
